”. The song is a slight departure from his previous tracks, which lean more towards the rock and folk genres. We see a new side of BAYWUD with this uplifting, Indie-pop tune. Opening with a layer of bold drums, synth overtones, and catchy lyrics, we are immediately drawn in. BAYWUD’s lyrics send the message that, “Like a wolf in the night”, we all have the strength and power inside of us to fight and stand up for ourselves when we feel like we are under attack from the various injustices in our own personal worlds. It’s about finding the connections to the ones we love that lift us up and hold us steady when all falls apart.
