Leaning towards a more bluesy, light rock style tune, 'Not Ready To Let Go' sheds some light on a love relationship of the artist.  

“Stand by me when I can’t. Lean on me when I won’t.  Take my drink when i’m drunk and follow me back home. Light a fire when I feel cold. Be my youth when it gets old. Hold on tight, cause i’m just not ready to let go.”

The simple, yet powerful lyrics convey the artist’s fond appreciation and love for the perfectly imperfect relationship.  It’s a slightly different sound than we’ve heard from BAYWUD, but still holds the value and impact of his previous collection of music.  Co-written and produced by Rune Westberg, the two writing partners have succeeded in showing the power of what love is and can be. Taking the good, the bad, the ugly and everything in between, the song gratifyingly expresses  that no relationship is pristine.  Every relationship is uniquely imperfect, which gives it the nuances that make it authentic.
