Rebel is a song about not giving up on yourself.  It’s about taking your power back and not allowing anyone or anything to get in the way of your happiness.  Society plays a large role in the way we see ourselves and each other, and it’s easy to allow this to determine our own state of being. We can fight against this and allow the rebel inside of us to take control.
